I think this post will be the most important one in my blog. Cancer have been part of my life. Not directly, but I lost my dad from cancer. This made me want to help cancer’s victims. So I worked for a while in a cancer treatment center. I really bonded to all the patients and I liked to talk a lot with them.  They shared their feelings, thoughts and wishes with me. I was already a makeup artist but i needed to do this job for a while to help people and feel more useful than with my dad who passed away in only fiew weeks. And I realized that women loosing hair, eyebrows, lashes was loosing their femininity. It made me search all the tricks to help them look like nothing is happening. I found many tricks, and today I want to share it with you.

Let’s start with THE HAIR:

I would recommend to try a full lace wig.A lace wig or a lace front wig is a special type of hairpiece or wig designed with a sheer lace base. Lace front wigs are made with real human hair or synthetic hair is which tied, by hand, to a sheer lace base.It can’t look more natural! The less you have hair under it, the better it will look! The lace wig is usually attached with the assistance of glues and tapes, which are applied to the front hairline area. Once the glue has dried, the front lace portion of the wig is affixed to the area where the glue has been applied on the hairline, creating a tight bond which keeps the lace wig in place on the head. Some lace wigs also have what is referred to as "baby hair" around the temple areas which is used to cover up any visible signs of lace on the forehead, the baby hair also helps to create a realistic hairline. Once applied the lace front wig will usually stay bonded for up to a week. You can keep those to sleep, do ponytail, breads and all kind of hair styling. Many celebrities have those to look fabulous!

So what do you think? Not bad huh?

Or you can be creative!

Now let’s talk about eyebrows:

There is 3 options for eyebrows.

First one really easy, it’s to draw your eyebrows with a pencil.

How to draw it:

  1. Point the eyebrow pencil up, between the nose and inner eye—this is where your eyebrow should start (A). Draw a small dot in this location.
  2. Move the pencil to the centre of the eye, and line it up with the outer edge of the iris (the coloured part of your eye)—this is where your arch should be (B). Draw a small dot here as well, making it slightly higher than the first dot.
  3. Finally, point the pencil diagonally between the nose and outer edge of the eye—this is where the eyebrow should end (C). Draw a final small dot there, making it slightly lower than the middle dot.
  4. Using gentle strokes, connect the dots with the eyebrow pencil. It should be thicker near the inner eye and become gradually thinner near the outer eye.

The second one is not known at all but is pretty cool! THIS ONE IS GREAT FOR MEN TOO! Same concept as the lace wig but for eyebrows! Smart! Their is many different shapes and colors. Easy to apply and look natural.

You can add some lace wig glue when you apply it this way your eyebrows will stick longer to your skin. Just like a lace wig you can use them many times.

The third option is the permanent makeup. This is a great way to look great without having to worry about water, shower etc. Now the problem when someone have cancer is that the skin is very sensitive witch means that you will be bleeding more that an other people. It is not dangerous, it just make it more difficult for the person who does it so make sure you do it at a place which experience and most important, very clean! I did eyebrows permanent makeup to clients with cancer, it was really hard to see what I was doing with the blood but after all, it looked great! Choose the hair by hair technique for a natural result.

And this is the perfect transition to talk about the eyelashes! As you can see on the previous picture, the eyes are done too and look incredibly natural! Know that when the skin heals, the intensity of the color will drop down 30%. So permanent makeup to create an eyelashes effect is a good option.

Other than that you always can put fake eyelashes…

How to apply it:

Step 1: Remove all make up but avoid using an oil based make up remover.

Step 2: Make sure the falsies are the right size for your eyes and cut off any excess!

Step 3: With a Q-tip apply your adhesive fake lash line.

Duo is my favourite brand of adhesive! They are waterproof, secure and comfortable.

Step 4: Align the lashes where your lash line is suppose to be. Press and hold down for 45 seconds to secure.

Step 5: Curl your lashes.

Step 6: Apply your fave mascara!

Step 7: Remove any excess adhesive.

Now let’s talk about tanning! Your skin is way too sensitive to get any sun or UV rays! This plus the treatment can make you look pale. If you don’t like it, you still can get a Spray tan.

This is shower of a tanning solution who look really natural on the skin. It last up to 10 days and is 100% save for the skin. You also can have it done manually by a professional. For more information check out my post about the sunless tanning.

I hope that helped you guys! I send you all my love and prayers to recover fast! If you have any question feel free to contact me by leaving a comment. You guys are beautiful anyway don’t forget that!
